In an effort to increase club activities and promote the health, fitness & wellness of our members, we have partnered with two local businesses to offer weekly Yoga and Boot Camp style classes.
Our Wednesday evening ValleyFit classes, led by CrossFit Drums certified personal trainers, are hosted at various locations throughout the VCC property (depending on weather). The classes run approximately 90 minutes and consist of functional group stretching, functional movement review, the work out of the day, and cool down. All ages and levels of fitness attend these classes as the work out of the day is always completely scalable to match existing levels and fitness goals.
Our Thursday evening Yoga class is led by Terry Tokach, the owner of Mountain Yoga. Terry is very involved in the community and is extremely passionate about her craft and introducing the power of yoga to both new and experienced students. She has extensive experience in the industry and brings a great energy and passion to VCC through these classes.
In addition to these group classes, the Valley Country Club is a proud sponsor of the Christmas In Conyngham Classic 5k – and host to the first ever VCC “Race the Course” 5K and 1 Mile Hill Climb – which benefits the local Conyngham Valley Food Pantry. Through this race and other events, VCC recruits and encourages member participation as “Team VCC”!!
